Hearth & Patina is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

What that means for you

• When you click one of our product links and buy something, Amazon pays us a small commission.
• It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without our link.
• You are never obligated to buy through our links. If you'd rather search Amazon yourself, that is completely fine.

How it affects our recommendations — it doesn't

This is the part that matters. Commissions do not influence our rankings, our scores, or which product wins a roundup. We frequently rank a cheaper product that pays us less above a more expensive one that pays more, because it is the better buy — a $25 Lodge over a $200 boutique pan, a $90 dutch oven over a $450 one. Prices and availability

Prices and stock on our pages are pulled live from the Amazon Product Advertising API and are accurate as of the date stamped on each page. They change constantly. The price shown at Amazon checkout is always the one that counts. If our price data goes stale (older than 48 hours), we hide the number rather than show you an out-of-date figure — the reasoning is in our methodology.

Other retailers

Amazon is our default retailer. Where we mention a brand's own store or another retailer, that link may be a plain reference link that earns us nothing — we'll link it anyway when it's genuinely the best place for you to buy. We only ever attach affiliate tracking to programmes we have actually joined.
